This post is for my local readers:) We visited “Lights on the Landscape” at Garvan Gardens tonight, and we are so glad we did! Although we have lived here many years, we’ve never ventured to Hot Springs for this light display. I highly recommend it for anyone, any age!
Nighttime photos are not my forte’, but you get the picture…amazing lights, like a Winter Wonderland!
For some reason, we thought the peacock was funny…maybe it has something to do with this story in my hometown?
Groovy gingerbread men!
This photo does the butterfly no justice, but trust me, they were beautiful!

Garvan Gardens is located at 550 Arkridge Road, Hot Springs National Park, AR 71913. “Lights on the Landscape” is open thru December 31st from 5pm to 9pm each evening. Cost is $6.00 for adults and $4.00 for children 6-12. Children 5 and under are free. (They do accept debit/credit cards FYI!)
The entire tour took us about one hour. Hot chocolate available at the end!
Be sure to schedule Garvan Gardens into your holiday plans if you are in the Little Rock area!

I live in Little Rock and this is our 4th winter here and we still have not been. Thanks for reminding me to go! 🙂

I live in Madison, MS. The City saw the error of their ways, and allowed the peacocks to stay. You can probably find a more updated version of the story for your link at Clarion Ledger.com as they had already changed their mind by the time of your post.
