Need a quick and easy Spring centerpiece or addition to your coffee table? These spring hurricane vases are a cinch to put together, and easily transition into summer, so you can leave them out for many months!
I typically change out this hurricane vase trio to match the season or the holiday. This time, I am using “Itsy Beadsies” from the wedding aisle at Hobby Lobby. Inexpensive and reusable!
Using scraps of leftover burlap from another project, I simply cut 4 inch strips and hot glued the ends together to make a “band” around each vase. And using this tutorial from Restore Interiors, I made burlap rosettes and hot glued them to the bands.
Disclaimer…it took me making several rosettes before I actually got the hang of it. And you can also see that a couple of them have frayed edges, and one does not. It depends on the cut of burlap…some is more tightly woven than others.
Once you get the hang of these rosettes, they are easy to make!
Pop a few white candles in these, and you have an instant display for Spring!

Have a great weekend! I am headed to the great little town of Oxford, Mississippi for an annual girls cousins’ reunion. I can hardly wait to see my family and eat lots of food:)!

I really like your ideas for the hurricanes, something I’m new to using, and the many different inexpensive items to us for a pop of color. For Valentines I used silver pink and red choc hersheys kisses.
Thanks for sharing!
